Research &
Community Input Healthy Archuleta established a Food Hub Community Learning and Leadership Circle (CLLC) to gather research and community input from food stakeholders and community members. This CLLC, composed of local business owners, local government representatives, organizational leaders and other stakeholders, discusses ideas for the food hub. This phase also includes conducting feasibility studies and a needs assessment to meet the community's specific needs for a food hub. For more information, click HERE!

Community Engagement
To gauge community interest in services, programs, and resources vital to food hub operations, the team conducted 11 tabling events. Notably, at the 2025 Archuleta Health Fair and Expo, the Healthy Archuleta (HA) team will present the food hub's design and engage with community members regarding potential programming. This expo, which includes food demonstrations, community education, food vendors, and a tour of the high school grow dome, showcases the ideas of the food hub for diverse educational, learning, and market activities. Visitors to the Healthy Archuleta booth at the Fair will have the opportunity to learn about the project's implementation plan, review design options, and provide valuable input and support.
