Healthy Archuleta Positions

Youth Engagement & Prevention Programs Lead (Part-Time)

Healthy Archuleta is seeking a collaborative, organized, and community-centered professional to serve as a Youth Engagement & Prevention Programs Lead as part of a five-year youth prevention initiative focused on strengthening protective factors, reducing substance use risk factors, and advancing community-based prevention strategies.

This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) coordinates youth-focused prevention activities, youth leadership opportunities, internship programming, outreach efforts, and community engagement activities connected to Healthy Archuleta’s prevention initiative. The position works closely with youth, families, schools, community organizations, and Healthy Archuleta staff to strengthen youth wellbeing and support meaningful youth participation throughout Archuleta County.

The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with youth and community members, values relationship-based and community-centered work, and is passionate about youth wellbeing, prevention, and community engagement.

Position Details
  • Part-time (approximately 20 hours/week)
  • $26–30/hour DOE
  • Based in Pagosa Springs
  • Some evenings and weekends required for youth activities and events
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly encouraged to apply
  • Work Location: Healthy Archuleta Office
Qualifications
  • Experience working with youth, schools, families, or community-based programs
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, public health, behavioral health, social work, youth development, community development, or related field preferred
  • Experience in youth development, prevention, mentoring, community engagement, or nonprofit work preferred
  • Familiarity with outreach, event coordination, social media, or youth leadership development helpful

Healthy Archuleta may consider combining the Prevention Systems & Partnerships Manager and Youth Engagement & Prevention Lead positions into one full-time role depending on candidate qualifications, organizational fit, and program needs.

Prevention Systems & Partnership Manager (Part-Time)

Healthy Archuleta is seeking a collaborative, organized, and community-centered professional to serve as a Prevention Systems & Partnership Manager as part of a five-year youth prevention initiative focused on strengthening youth wellbeing, reducing substance use risk factors, increasing protective factors, and advancing community-based prevention strategies across Archuleta County.

This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) supports coalition coordination, partnership development, prevention planning, grant implementation, systems coordination, and community collaboration efforts connected to Healthy Archuleta’s prevention initiative. The position works closely with schools, public health agencies, youth-serving organizations, healthcare partners, community leaders, and Healthy Archuleta staff to strengthen coordinated prevention efforts that are community-informed and culturally responsive.

The ideal candidate enjoys collaborative and systems-level work, is highly organized, communicates effectively with diverse groups, and values relationship-based and community-centered approaches to prevention and youth wellbeing.

Position Details
  • Part-time (approximately 20 hours/week)
  • $30–34/hour DOE
  • Based in Pagosa Springs
  • Some evenings and weekends required for meetings and events
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly encouraged to apply
  • Work Location: Healthy Archuleta Office
Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating community-based programs, coalitions, partnerships, or collaborative initiatives
  • Strong facilitation, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, behavioral health, nonprofit management, social work, community development, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred but not required
  • Experience in prevention, public health, coalition work, community organizing, or grant coordination preferred
