Infrastructure Committee
Help Build the Foundation of the Food Hub
The Infrastructure Committee will guide the physical development of the Archuleta Community Food Hub, from site planning and design to construction and long-term facility sustainability. This team will help think through layout, phasing, green building practices, kitchen and production spaces, utilities, parking, and how the space functions for growers, vendors, and community members.

We’re looking for individuals with experience or interest in:
  • Architecture, engineering, construction, or project management
  • Facilities planning or maintenance
  • Energy efficiency and sustainability
  • Land use, zoning, or local development processes
  • Practical, systems-level problem solving
This is an opportunity to help design a space that supports local food production, workforce development, and community connection for decades to come.

If you care about building smart, resilient infrastructure that strengthens Archuleta County’s future, we’d love to have you at the table.
Operations Committee
Shape How the Food Hub Works Day-to-Day
The Operations Committee will help design the systems that make the Food Hub successful and sustainable. This includes vendor policies, retail models, kitchen scheduling, pricing structures, food safety practices, staffing models, and support of the Food Pantry Network and local growers.

We’re looking for people with experience or interest in:
  • Small business operations or retail management
  • Food systems, distribution, or aggregation
  • Commercial kitchens or food safety
  • Financial modeling and sustainability planning
  • Workforce development and training programs
This committee helps answer key questions:
  • How will the market operate?
  • How do we balance affordability and sustainability?
  • How do we support local producers while ensuring community access?
If you’re excited about turning vision into practical systems that work, this committee is for you.
Capital Campaign Committee
Invest in the Future of Local Food & Community Health
The Capital Campaign Committee will help lead the fundraising effort to bring the Food Hub to life. This team will support major donor outreach, community engagement, sponsorship development, events, grant strategy alignment, and ambassador outreach.
We’re looking for individuals who:
  • Have strong community relationships
  • Are comfortable making introductions or hosting conversations
  • Believe in local food, economic development, and community wellness
  • Want to help build something transformational for Archuleta County
You don’t need to be a professional fundraiser, you simply need to care about the future of our community and be willing to help share the story.

This is about more than raising dollars. It’s about building ownership, excitement, and long-term community investment.
