Participatory Voting
We hosted a Participatory Voting Event May 22-25. Voters decided which areas Healthy Archuleta will put at the forefront of its work over the next two years. Healthy Archuleta conducts assessments, secures resources, and supports community initiatives relating to food and nutrition that can advance the health of our community. We asked that you look over the various focus areas and tell us what matters most to you. Learn how you community members could participate HERE.
Book Club
The FSFE - Food Coalition hosts book clubs. The most recent one featured, “Closing the Food Gap: Resetting the Table in the Land of the Plenty,” by Mark Winne, October 19th - November 16th in Pagosa Springs. To learn more, click HERE.
Snack in a Pack
The Snack in a Backpack project was a community initiated project that was developed and selected during the participatory budgeting process. In partnership with the Archuleta School District, it was set to roll out for three weeks in April. The sacks of snacks offer nutritious foods to support children's health and wellbeing.
